About the Role: District Leader RX - Phoenix, AZ We're seeking an experienced and skilled District Leader RX to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a District Leader RX, you'll play a critical role in cultivating a culture of clinical and business excellence in retail pharmacies across your market. With clinical and business oversight of up to 18 retail pharmacies and an average team headcount of 200 reports, you'll be responsible for driving patient safety and business success in your market. Key Responsibilities: People Leadership & Development: Cultivate the market's Pharmacist talent pipeline, including ultimate oversight and development of interns, Float Pharmacists, Staff Pharmacists, and Pharmacy Managers. Manage District succession plans and promote District-level staffing of pharmacies. Oversee the consistent delivery and completion of all colleague training programs. Create a culture of recognition, empowerment, development, and inclusion that attracts and retains pharmacy talent at all levels. Business / Financial Planning: Develop and execute business plans and strategies to deliver on all business performance measures, e.g. P&L, scripts-to-budget, inventory management, payroll management, asset protection accountabilities, etc. Actively review business reports to derive insights about District pharmacy performance; utilize metrics as a tool to diagnose root cause and inform the creation of action plans. Operations: Set, communicate, and execute on market goals. Engage pharmacy teams to deliver against new and existing programs and services with excellence. Triage and address any emergent issues in the market, e.g. theft, extreme weather, no-shows, Board of Pharmacy visits, etc. Ensure compliance with all Company policies and relevant federal, state, and local laws pertaining to pharmacy and pharmacy personnel. Portfolio Growth: Provide market-specific input to development of the local acquisition and real estate strategy; implement the local real estate strategy and provide acquisition support. Identify file buy and acquisition leads, cultivating relationships with competitors and ensuring retention of file buy assets. Essential Qualifications: Active Pharmacist license in the state where the district is located. Internal candidates must be accepted into the EL program. 5+ years as a practicing Pharmacist, ideally within a retail setting. Completion of our LEARNRx program within 120 days of hire. Bachelors of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy. Preferred Qualifications: PharmD preferred. Preference is for internal candidates to have completed the EL program curriculum up through the EL Summit. 3+ years of experience as a multi-unit manager. 1+ year of experience in CVS Retail store or field role(s). 8 to 10 years work experience. Skills and Competencies: To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team to achieve business goals. You'll also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders. Additionally, you'll need to be able to analyze business data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive business growth. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $123,857.50 - $266,770.00, depending on experience and qualifications. You'll also be eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program, as well as an award target in the company's equity award program.
