Job Overview blithequark is seeking an exceptional Customer Service/Sales Representative to join its dynamic team. Key Responsibilities In this critical role, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including: Managing and assigning emails to ensure prompt and efficient communication with customers and vendors Processing invoices from suppliers and delivering customer invoices in a timely manner Receiving payments from customers, running credit card transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records Entering tracking numbers into our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and eCommerce websites to ensure seamless order fulfillment Managing high-volume phone calls from customers and vendors, providing excellent customer service, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner Providing verbal and email quotes to customers, communicating with vendors to confirm price and availability, and processing orders with vendors Keeping track of backorders, following up with vendors and customers on ship dates, and preparing and reconciling monthly payments to vendors Maintaining accurate records of past-due invoices and working with customers to resolve outstanding balances Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Excellent verbal, written, and typing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders Highly detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of your work Proactive work ethic and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team High-level organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Friendly and patient demeanor, with a strong customer-focused approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional service Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in eCommerce software and a willingness to learn our proprietary systems Knowledge of industrial equipment, supplies, filtration, or compressed air equipment is a bonus, but not required Ability to maintain confidential financial documentation and adhere to our company's data protection policies Require minimal supervision to complete work and meet deadlines, with a strong sense of accountability and a commitment to achieving results Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded: 3+ years of experience in eCommerce customer service and sales, with a proven track record of success in a similar role Experience working in an industrial supply company or a related industry, with a strong understanding of our products and services Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel, with the ability to analyze data and provide insights to inform business decisions Experience with ERP systems and eCommerce platforms, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies Certifications or training in customer service, sales, or a related field, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve issues and provide solutions in a timely and efficient manner High-level organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines Strong customer-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of adaptability and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
