Job Overview In this role, you will work as an Eligibility Analyst, responsible for managing client data, resolving eligibility issues, and providing exceptional customer service. As a key member of the team, you will be expected to work independently and collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes for clients, vendors, and internal partners. Your primary responsibilities will include checking enrollment status, updating client records, and addressing various enrollment-related issues. Key Responsibilities: Check enrollment status, make changes to part/client records, and address an assortment of enrollment-related feedback Maintain enrollment databases and direct the flow of eligibility information Use and interpret online resources to understand account design and benefits, and may assist with the development of such resources Answer, research, and resolve eligibility and other enrollment-related issues, including part-specific data, by working directly with clients, vendors, and internal partners to achieve positive assistance results Apply all applicable considerations related to technical requirements, administrative/regulatory policies, account design, and benefit boundaries in addressing eligibility matters Act as the contact between clients, vendors, and the IT department, defining and identifying business requirements and solutions for non-standard arrangements Ensure all transactions interface correctly with downstream systems; test and validate data files for new or existing clients using system tools, and track results to avoid potential issues and better address ongoing service issues Collaborate with other team capabilities to coordinate the release of eligibility, plan design, and benefit data Complete required setup of policy and eligibility screens together to activate system processing of plan benefits Code system screens, policy, and design to support downstream processes and the generation and release of Part and Plan Support products Ensure all communications with clients, third-party administrators, as well as vendors, including sensitive part information, adhere to HIPAA compliance requirements Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, which demonstrate the ability to interact politely and professionally with both internal and external clients. You should have: Incredible written and verbal relational abilities, including listening and appreciation, valuable feedback, spelling, grammar, editing, and phone communication Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems and make improvements Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook Data entry expertise Understands goal/end state and works with minimal direction to meet that expectation/end state Ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting needs Ability to manage high work volume and direct multiple incoming workflows A team player capable of working independently when required Convey accurate and timely results Follows up as necessary to resolve an issue effectively Preferred Qualifications While not essential, having past similar experience is a definite plus. A high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience is also preferred.
