Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and talented Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our team at Walt Disney Studios in Burbank. As a key member of our Content, Licensing & Others (CSL&O) pillar, you will play a critical role in providing financial planning and analysis support to our business partners, helping to drive informed decision-making and strategic growth. Key Responsibilities Prepare CSL&O's P&L and financial support systems for all budgets and policies, including data integrity checks in SAP and COGNOS TM1 data cubes Collaborate with selected business areas to understand key drivers of change and underlying risks and opportunities Develop and evaluate key financial strategies, including performance impact, and communicate with key outcome drivers and studio/CSL&O executives Work with the production and marketing team to optimize production and production costs (key KPI for the studio) Manage funding and reporting of CSL&O's 5yps and adopt TWDC's Financial Transformation Plan to identify improvements and efficiencies that can help improve FP&A operations Conduct ad hoc research at the request of studio directors and work with the COGNOS TM1 development team to improve efficiency and improve reporting within CSL&O Develop employees through feedback and talent planning, and lead and develop a team in a dynamic and inclusive environment Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance (MBA preferred) At least 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong background in accounting and finance Strong analytical skills and the ability to diagnose and solve problems, with a high level of attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to gather ideas and issues and present them concisely to senior management Strong knowledge of Excel (including macros) and experience with SAP and COGNOS TM1 (a plus) Project management expertise and the ability to meet deadlines, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and assignments at the same time Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: An MBA or other advanced degree in a related field Experience working in the entertainment industry, with a strong understanding of the business and its key drivers Experience with financial planning and analysis software, such as Adaptive Insights or Anaplan Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and develop a team in a dynamic and inclusive environment Career Growth Opportunities At The Walt Disney Company, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
