Job Expectations and Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Maintaining courteous, professional contact with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community. Ensuring a neat appearance and good personal hygiene in compliance with blithequark's image standards. Supporting and following established safety, security, quality guidelines, and company policies. Preserving the safety of self, fellow employees, and others in the work location. Ensuring food safety hygiene in accordance with county regulations. Following federal law and company standards on carding customers for age-restricted products. Working professionally with vendors and contractors. Maintaining regular and punctual attendance. Essential Functions To excel in this role, you'll need to: Provide exceptional guest service, greeting and thanking customers while making eye contact. Conduct point-of-sale activities accurately and safely. Maintain cash drawer management and perform cashier reconciliation. Perform consistent station cleaning and ensure facilities are well-maintained. Prepare food and hot beverage products, effectively managing foodservice and beverages. Promote store specials and marketing programs. Cross-check price of delivered goods for accuracy and distribute goods throughout the store. Observe local law requirements for fuel tank activations and fill-ups. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need: Availability to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong attention to detail and exceptional judgment. Ability to work independently and in team settings. Required up-to-date food handling certificates, as needed. Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred. Physical Demands and Work Environment This role involves: Standing and walking for long periods on hard and uneven surfaces. Bending, lifting, pushing, and moving products using proper techniques. Working safely with equipment that can create high temperatures. Periodic exposure to outdoor conditions and moderate exposure to walk-in coolers and freezers. Frequent handwashing and attention to personal cleanliness standards. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits At blithequark, we offer a competitive compensation package, including: Direct deposit with competitive weekly pay ($17.00 - $18.00).
