We're dedicated to helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and we're committed to making significant investments and growing our team to meet the complex needs of local, state, and federal government and educational institutions. **Job Summary** As a Customer Engineer III, you'll partner with technical Sales teams as an enterprise hybrid cloud subject matter expert to differentiate arenaflex Cloud to our customers. You'll help prospective and existing customers and partners understand the power of arenaflex Cloud, develop creative cloud solutions and architectures to solve their business challenges, engage in proofs of concepts, and troubleshoot any technical questions and roadblocks. You'll use your expertise and presentation skills to engage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, and persuasively present practical and useful solutions on arenaflex Cloud. **Responsibilities** * Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers. * Share in-depth enterprise infrastructure and cloud modernization expertise to support the technical relationship with customers, including technology advocacy, supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partnering directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to arenaflex Cloud. * Guide customers through assessments of their existing legacy application environment(s), provide recommendations on a prioritization roadmap for application modernization, and identify opportunities for migration to hybrid-cloud computing models. * Structure and execute prototyping workshops to prove out proposed architectures, developing best practices, and documenting blocking requirements for prioritization with engineering. * Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required, acting as a public advocate for arenaflex Cloud. **Key Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. * 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture and development methodologies, including modernizing legacy applications and application performance profiling and tuning, in a customer-facing or support role. * Experience with architectural design patterns, platform engineering (e.g., Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, image management or repository management), virtualization deployments, container deployments, application security, or networking. * Experience in, or supporting state or local government clients. * Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with developing scalable architectures using API management, microservice frameworks, and PaaS. * Experience with one or more programming languages. * Exposure to the software development lifecycle. **What We Offer** * Competitive base salary range of $142,000-$214,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. * Opportunity to work with a diverse team of innovators and thought leaders in the public sector technology space. * Collaborative and dynamic work environment that promotes equal opportunities to succeed. * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. * Professional development opportunities, including training and education programs, to help you grow your skills and advance your career. **Work Environment and Culture** arenaflex is committed to creating a workplace culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
