Job Summary As a Customer Service Agent with blithequark, you'll play a vital role in providing outstanding passenger experiences, handling customer concerns, and ensuring smooth flight operations. Key Responsibilities Check-in passengers and their luggage at the ticket counter and gates, ensuring a seamless and efficient process. Patiently handle customer concerns and complaints regarding ticketing and baggage handling, providing solutions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Knowledgeably answer inquiries regarding flight schedules, fares, and other questions as they arise, providing accurate and up-to-date information. Make announcements at the gate or over the general PA system regarding flight activity, ensuring that passengers are informed and up-to-date. Be responsible for all flight movement messages between the gate, ground handling team, flight crew, and airport vendors, ensuring clear and effective communication. Essential Qualifications Demonstrate strong communication skills to interact professionally with passengers, team members, and station leadership. Possess proficient computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies. Be at least 18 years of age and possess a High school diploma, GED or work experience equivalent. Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (only required for some airports). Be able to pass a drug screen and obtain airport security clearance, which includes an extensive 10-year employment, criminal record, and residence background check. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, airline operations, or a related field. Fluency in multiple languages (optional). Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Physical Requirements Lift up to 70 pounds (32 kg) on a regular basis. Stand, lift, bend, push, and pull on a frequent basis and for extended periods. Work around jet and machinery noises.
