Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at Blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Managing customer queries and complaints across multiple communication channels, including phone, email, and letters Responding promptly to customer inquiries and providing timely resolutions Processing orders, modifications, and escalating complaints in a professional and efficient manner Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times Communicating with customers through various channels, including phone, email, and letters Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints in a fair and timely manner Knowing our products inside and out to provide accurate information and answer questions Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary to ensure seamless customer service Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process to drive continuous improvement Position Summary As a Customer Service Representative in our Claims Inquiry/Claims Research team, you will be responsible for: Answering questions and resolving issues based on phone calls, letters, and other correspondence from members, providers, and plan sponsors Triaging resulting rework to appropriate staff and providing excellent customer service for high-volume inbound provider calls Conducting extensive claims research on multiple platforms to assist providers with payment questions Providing customers with related information to answer unasked questions, such as additional plan details, benefit plan details, and member self-service tools Using our customer service threshold framework to make financial decisions to resolve member issues Explaining member rights and responsibilities in accordance with contract Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or GED equivalent Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience in a highly transactional call center environment, preferably in health care or a related field Excellent customer service and critical thinking skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure High-speed internet access (25 mbps or higher) and a consistent connection A dedicated workspace with a direct connection to the router (NOT Wi-Fi) Work Environment and Company Culture At Blithequark, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that values employee well-being and growth. Training and Development We provide comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role. You will be required to attend 4 weeks of virtual training, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8-5 CST. After training, you will work a permanent schedule, Monday-Friday, with flexible start and end times (as early as 7 am CST and as late as 7 pm CST).
