From forecasting, funding, tracking, and reporting on projects, to approaches to work and asset management, Business Tasks has visibility and influence across all aspects of the organization. **About the Commitment Examination Team** The Commitment Examination team is seeking a Lead Investigation Specialist who will be an exceptional addition to our team. We collaborate with teams across the organization to transform data into insights, insights into experiences, and experiences into key business decisions that drive the company forward. If you are someone who derives personal satisfaction from turning data into insights and driving business outcomes, then this is an excellent opportunity for you. **Job Summary** As a Lead Data Analyst, you will direct the team in its reporting plan and data process. You will organize experts to build tooling and communicate with our partners, as well as the wider Disney universe. You will be instrumental in driving the use of analysis as a core value driver across our organization. **Key Responsibilities** * **Business Performance Reporting and Analysis**: Be the primary partner for cross-functional teams to understand the performance of the platform. When a metric is ahead or behind expectations, dive in to drive significant, actionable insights that help improve or double down on progress. * **Reporting and Tooling Process**: Lead the team in the development of meaningful and consistent metrics and reporting across streaming platforms. * **BI Execution**: Drive reporting for large-scale data. Act as a specialist for experts in the team and collaborate with Information Engineering and Designing in planning and building performant ETLs, mediator tables, and beautiful and fast Scene and Looker dashboards. * **Formation of a Single Source of Truth**: Collaborate with our Administration team and unite examiners and partners from across the team to define and normalize the metrics by which we evaluate item performance. * **ETL and Metric Plan**: Own measurement plan and creation by defining business requirements, structure and development, and long-term data flexibility. * **Collaboration and Communication**: Partner closely with business partners to identify and understand what they need to drive decisions, and with other data teams to improve platform capabilities around data modeling, testing platforms, data visualization, and data design. **Essential Capabilities** * A Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Finance, Math, or related field. * Ability to create data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc. * 4+ years of analytical experience, preferably explicitly in analysis design. * Proficiency in SQL, some experience in SparkSQL, Hive, etc. * Huge experience with OLAP data sets like Snowflake or Redshift. * Experience creating and maintaining advanced tables for reporting through ETLs. * Project and asset management experience, illustrating targets, and timelines, and organizing work across multiple stakeholders. * Python/R or other statistical programming languages. * Extreme drive and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional results. * Strong interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills and experience presenting to diverse audiences. **Preferred Capabilities** * A sense of humor * Novel interests or areas of interest that impact the way you interact with others or potentially approach your work. **What We Offer** * Competitive salary of $30/hour * Opportunity to work with a leading entertainment and media company * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Professional development and growth opportunities * Comprehensive benefits package * Flexible work arrangements **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and analytical individual with a passion for data-driven insights, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
