With a focus on data analytics, cloud computing, and DevOps, you'll be empowered to make a real impact on the organization and contribute to arenaflex's continued success. **What You'll Do** As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include: * Working closely with data engineering teams and product owners to design, implement, and maintain data analytics solutions that provide insights to inform business decisions * Implementing data migration and engineering solutions using Azure products and services, such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, and more * Performing a range of tasks involved in the development lifecycle, including design, cloud engineering, ingestion, preparation, data modeling, testing, CICD pipelines, performance tuning, deployments, consumption, BI, alerting, and production support * Providing technical assistance and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment, as well as working independently * Joining a DevOps team that fully owns and supports their product * Implementing batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies * Developing coding standards, best practices, and privacy and security guidelines **All You'll Need for Success** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or an equivalent field * 1 year of experience in software development using agile, DevOps, and working in a product version that includes designing, developing, and deploying large-scale applications or data engineering solutions * 1 year of experience in data analytics using SQL * 1 year of experience in cloud development and data lake experience (Microsoft Azure) including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI * A combination of development, administration, and support experience in various tools and frameworks, including scripting (Python, Spark, Unix, SQL), data platforms (Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake, Azure Data Explorer), Azure cloud technologies (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Azure Functions), CI/CD (GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform), and BI analytics tool stack (Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Denodo, and Grafana) * Data warehouse experience (DataStage, Informatica) * Data governance and privacy experience (Informatica Axon and EDC, BigID) **Preferred Qualifications** * 2 years of experience in software development using agile, DevOps, and working in a product version that includes designing, developing, and deploying large-scale applications or data engineering solutions * 3 years of experience in data analytics using SQL * 2 years of full-stack development experience, ideally in Azure * 2 years of experience in cloud development and data lake experience (Microsoft Azure) including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, ADX, ASA, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI * Airline industry experience **Skills, Licenses & Certifications** * Experience with the Azure Technology stack for data management, data ingestion, capture, processing, curation, and developing consumption layers * Working knowledge of supplying sensible routing in the Azure Native cloud services * Spark Certification (preferred) * Azure Development Track Certification (preferred) **Perks and Benefits** As an arenaflex employee, you'll enjoy a comprehensive range of benefits and perks, including: * Health benefits: medical, prescription, dental, vision, and more * 401(k) plan: available upon hire and eligible for company contributions after one year * Travel perks: travel privileges for you, your family, and friends across the American Airlines network * Well-being programs: resources, events, and support for your physical, emotional, and financial well-being * Education foundation: higher education scholarship grants for eligible dependents * Family support: emergency assistance from the Family Fund for you and your family in times of need * Deals and discounts: savings on a wide range of services and products, including hotels, electronics, garden care, cell plans, and more * Fly Higher Learning: programs and online learning platforms to help you advance your career * Paid time off: you're eligible to take paid leaves when you need them, including paid parental care leave and paid vacation leave **Feel Free to Be Yourself at arenaflex** At arenaflex, we're committed to creating an inclusive and diverse work environment that celebrates the unique talents and perspectives of our employees.
