You'll work closely with our artwork, layout, and engineering groups to identify workflow inefficiencies, pain points, and areas for improvement. Your expertise will help us streamline our processes, enhance team performance, and deliver high-quality experiences. **Key Responsibilities** * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address workflow inefficiencies, pain points, and areas for improvement * Develop and implement solutions to enhance team performance and efficiency * Assist in the development, preservation, and extension of blithequark's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies * Build and guide custom asset pipelines to support game development * Grow and maintain blithequark's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and structures * Work closely with development teams to generate candidate solutions, weigh tradeoffs, and implement selected answers * Help drive the adoption of solutions by the team * Proactively identify areas for improvement in our development process across disciplines * Preserve, extend, and aid present development gear * Build and guide custom asset pipelines * Grow blithequark's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and structures **Essential Qualifications** * Strong passion for empowering others to do their best work * Experience with the overall device lifecycle, including identifying issues, comparing capacity answers, implementing tools, and evaluating their effectiveness * Enjoy working with custom standalone gear * Enjoy growing gear that can be utilized by many game development disciplines * Proficiency in C#, C++, Python, JavaScript, and Net Tech * Ability to work efficiently in a self-directed environment * Experience with custom game engines, Unreal, or Unity is a plus **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with custom game engines * Knowledge of JavaScript and Net Tech * Familiarity with required utility materials * Resume outlining applicable experience **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Strong passion for innovation and continuous improvement **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
