Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Entry Specialist to support our team in creating and maintaining reports, providing department insights on performance, and building data models to solve various measurable ventures. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization. You will work closely with our technology team to ensure that our data storage facility solutions meet department demands. Key Responsibilities Create new, modify existing, and execute ad-hoc reporting in support of service procedures and data-driven decision making. Develop relevant dashboards on Power BI and Excel to provide insights into business performance. Establish and maintain data quality specifications and controls to ensure data integrity and accessibility. Design, develop, and implement new report pipelines from source devices to the Data Warehouse. Collaborate with Management and Business Analysts to understand business requirements, maintain comprehensive documentation, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements. Generate, sustain, and develop scalable report pipelines and data design. Apply data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI. Assist in automating existing business processes and enhancing exception-based reporting. Work with IT and Business Analysts to investigate, research, and acquire new data variables (data exploration). Analyze large datasets to identify meaningful patterns that provide actionable results. Evaluate information acquired from multiple sources and resolve conflicts. Validate data for accuracy by verifying against standards. Investigate data errors and remediate poor data. Participate in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and policies & procedures. Analyze and affirm metrics are effective and provide feedback to division leaders of trends that require attention. Essential Qualifications 2+ years of experience performing in-depth data analysis. Strong experience working with Power BI, including creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and M Code. Skilled in SQL, able to write complex SQL queries to generate reports and analytics. Experience with ETL tools, including SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations. Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other methods. Problem-solving skills through statistical analysis with large data sets. Expertise with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query. Experience with Smartsheets. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a remote environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Experience with data governance and data quality.
