Job Overview The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments. The key deliverables of this role include processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles, identifying and addressing breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents. Additionally, this position will be responsible for processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling and reconciling transactions, and processing and reconciling returns activity. The specialist may also be trusted to execute analysis of complex and escalated issues, perform testing and validation of new technology enhancements, as well as provider changes. Key Responsibilities Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents Process Corporate Activity Activities, settle and reconcile transactions, and process and reconcile returns activity Analyze complex and escalated issues, perform testing and validation of new technology enhancements, and provider changes Complete projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile Collaborate with Retail and Institutional Service Teams using email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce Interact with and embody blithequark's values in daily connections with fund companies, transfer agents, counterparties, and other external business partners Duties Analysis The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for reviewing subscription deals or transfer requests, client/advisor amount exceptions, regulatory commitments, and reconciling business, dividend, and transactions breaks. The specialist will also be required to review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding issues. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Internal/External system improvements or issues Root cause of breaks between blithequark, the Fund, etc. Providing method or technology solution alternatives to Management Remediating transfer issues with the Fund or Counterparty Firm Client or Business Partner Answering business partner inquiries regarding Fund information requirements/eligibility Providing follow-up on Alternative Investment moves to expedite the client request or remediate not neat issues Prompt and correct completion of client investing and dividend requests Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
