You will be the first point of contact for many of our clients' customers, and your role will be to provide prompt, accurate, and friendly assistance to help them resolve their queries. You will work closely with our Online Chat Manager to ensure that our clients' customers receive the best possible service. **Responsibilities** As an Online Chat Specialist at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: * Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns * Evaluating customer interactions and elevating issues to the Online Chat Manager when appropriate * Creating relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs * Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately * Promoting interest in client products and services * Consistently achieving established standards of the position * Continually portraying and projecting a positive and professional image * Providing administrative support to the customer service team * May assist with overflow work and other duties as needed **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: * Strong work ethic with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a larger team-oriented environment * PC keyboarding and internet experience needed * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal * Upbeat positive attitude and professional demeanor * Articulate and well-accustomed to a client-facing role * Ability to compose professional emails is a plus * Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English * Basic technical skills (able to navigate through smartphone and computer applications) With an upbeat, positive, kind empathetic personality **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple incoming requests for information * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficient in using online chat software and other customer service tools * Basic technical skills (able to navigate through smartphone and computer applications) * Ability to compose professional emails and other written communication **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
