Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Remote Care Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our patient engagement and support team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support services to our clients. This is a full-time remote position, offering a competitive salary of $20/hour and a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities Efficiently process inbound faxes and accurately enter data into our proprietary software. Handle inbound and outbound calls, determining patient needs and providing one-call resolution to ensure timely and effective support. Report Adverse Events within the required timeframe, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Create and complete accurate referrals and applications, staying informed about policy and procedural changes. Investigate and resolve patient/physician inquiries and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner. Enter detailed information into our proprietary software while conversing via telephone, ensuring seamless communication and data entry. Place outbound phone calls for patient follow-ups or confirmations, prioritizing multiple assignments and working with a sense of urgency. Demonstrate superior customer support talents, providing an empathetic and supportive experience to patients and their families. Interact with patient referral sources to process new applicants, stewarding patient accounts from initial contact through final approval/denial. Maintain quality and provide an empathetic and supportive experience to patients by controlling the patient conversation, educating callers, and providing effective and efficient strategies and processes. Education and Experience We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in patient care and support services. The ideal candidate will possess: A High School diploma or equivalent. 2-4 years of experience in a care coordination or customer service role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of practices and procedures commonly used in a call center or customer service environment. Knowledge of insurance billing methods and general pharmacy operations, preferred. Ability to utilize all systems for maximum efficiencies, including Word, Excel, MS Outlook, and our proprietary software, ConnectSource. Ability to multitask while conversing, preferred. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex patient needs and develop effective solutions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple assignments and meeting deadlines. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and support services.
