Job Summary As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our investment operations and client services. Your primary responsibilities will include performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer activities for various investments, as well as processing exchange buy and sell transactions, identifying and addressing breaks, and handling corporate activity events. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently will be essential in this role, and you will have the opportunity to work with a range of financial products, including stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer activities for various investments, including processing exchange buy and sell transactions in customer profiles. Identify and address breaks recognized between blithequark and external partners or transfer representatives. Handle corporate activity events, settle/reconcile transfer activity, and process/reconcile returns activity. Conduct research on complex/escalated issues, perform testing/validation of new technology improvements, and provide modifications. Complete projects in Investing, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Company Actions that directly impact Client/Advisor accounts. Collaborate with Retail and Institutional Company Teams through email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce. Communicate with and work with external partners, including fund companies, transfer brokers, opposite organizations, and other outside company partners. Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in investment operations, data entry, or a related field; experience with financial systems and technology a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with various teams and partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with investment products, including stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. Familiarity with regulatory requirements, such as financial industry regulations and guidelines. Experience with data reconciliation and problem-solving. Certifications, such as financial industry certifications, a plus. Skills and Competencies: Attention to detail and accuracy. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
