Job Synopsis: Office Project Lead – Corporate Travel Management We're seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as an Office Project Lead, responsible for managing corporate travel management companies at Blithequark. As a key player in this role, you'll exercise significant judgment to make decisions that drive consistent revenue growth, leveraging aspects of our organization and corporate client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Act as an informed authority for Travel Management Company (TMC) business for Blithequark. Build strategic business relationships with TMC accounts focused on business travel valuable learning experiences for Blithequark. With minimal direction from leadership, practice extensive judgment to manage pricing, cost analysis, and negotiations of all TMC agreements with the intent of securing the highest market share and yield possible in individual commercial centers. Collaborate with legal and risk supervisory teams to develop contract-official arrangements. Analyze revenue, limits, and agreement execution to ensure objective compliance and profitability. Develop marketing-related advancements to assist with driving sales efforts, planning intimately with marketing and business loyalty teams. Manage the portfolio of TMC organization accounts through sales calls, negotiating arrangements, and coordination with pricing. Plan business growth and lead development of other organization accounts through collaboration with revenue supervisory teams to ensure exceptional sales are documented as needed and drive expected revenue per the specifics of the arrangement. Monitor reporting and metrics to identify trends and develop a strategy to ensure the organization is positioned suitably in the market. Screen revenue, commissions, and agreement execution to ensure maximum revenues and sales objectives are accomplished. Successfully manage and negotiate time and assets, maximizing revenue opportunities at the most cost-effective rate for Blithequark. Prepare and execute local sales plans according to corporate sales targets and ensure Blithequark is strategically positioned among its competitors and utilizes its position in the commercial center. Work-Specific Experience, Education, and Skills: Required: 2 years of experience in outside sales, with a focus in the retail administration environment or related area. Bachelor's degree, or two additional years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). High school diploma or equivalent. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred: Previous airline experience. Previous exposure to and utilization of travel industry information reporting sources like Sabre and Crystal. Proficiency with CRM tool Salesforce. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive results to the greatest advantage of the organization. Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with various teams and workgroups. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to conflicts caused by competing needs.
