Job Summary Under minimal supervision, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex software applications for enhancements and new products. This will involve preparing and conducting systems programming tests, requiring interfacing and software assessments, as well as coaching others in less senior positions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer technology, engineering, or information systems, and a minimum of three to four years of qualifying work experience in a data generation or engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug complex software applications for enhancements and new products Prepare and conduct systems programming tests, requiring interfacing and software assessments Coach others in less senior positions Responsible for recurring idea design via the whole development life cycle Files numerous software applications with flowcharts, visualizations, diagrams to ensure all users have a full understanding via the development cycle Essential Qualifications The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology, Engineering, or Information Systems, or an associated area, and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. A related advanced degree may also offset the experience requirements. The candidate will have a minimum of three to four years of qualifying work experience in a data generation or engineering environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience building end-to-end solutions on cloud systems like AWS, Azure, or GCP Experience with source control tools like Git, as well as expertise using ADO Backend Engineers: Experience in development using Java or Springboot Frontend Engineers: Experience in development using React JS or Angular JS Backend Engineers: Ability in development writing interfaces including API JSON or Soap and Webservices Comfort with database principles and experience writing SQL in a relational database such as MySQL or PostgreSQL At ease working with goal-oriented teams in an Agile environment and working with user stories and recognition standards Willingness to analyze and learn new technologies, large technology stack, and figure out solutions, by using deeper studies and troubleshooting Skills and Competencies The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a virtual environment. The candidate will be self-motivated, with a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines is essential.
