With a focus on collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning, you'll have the chance to grow your skills and advance your career in a supportive and inclusive environment. **What You'll Do** As a Senior Engineer at blithequark, your responsibilities will include: * Conducting training for Specialists in areas of expertise * Serving as a guide to other Engineers * Leading project teams or resolving issues as a group leader/facilitator * Collaborating with manufacturers and regulatory specialists to ensure that Designing practices are compliant with relevant regulations and company manuals * Developing customized methods and special procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections, adjustments, and other maintenance activities that are not adequately addressed in existing manuals * Staying informed about daily airline operations, including areas of responsibility * Reviewing daily needs based on aircraft/departmental targets and management mandates * Investigating aircraft/part issues that may cause flight delays or cancellations, significant uses in labor or materials, or breaks in maintenance activities, and determining appropriate corrective actions * Providing Designing support as needed to restore operational status * Responding to requests from Maintenance and other airline divisions when specialized support is required to assist with tasks or resolve issues * Developing activity plans for fleet/multi-fleet and part Designing projects and pursuing completion as per evaluated needs * Collaborating with other airline divisions as needed to ensure effective and efficient execution of Designing practices * Creating Designing documents to implement specialized methods for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other maintenance activities that provide benefits in accordance with aircraft/departmental targets and management mandates * Maintaining knowledge of current and future regulations that affect areas of responsibility and ensuring that all Designing activities maintain compliance with relevant regulatory requirements * Utilizing available resources to build levels of technical expertise and practical experience continuously, as well as to improve communication skills, time management, and other individual characteristics relevant to maximum effectiveness and efficiency in performing assigned duties * Effectively engaging with colleagues and management at all levels **All You'll Need for Success** To excel in this role, you'll require: * A Bachelor's degree in a Designing field or related Designing certification * At least 1 year of Designing experience in a related field or 2 years of experience without a degree * A&P license * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Ability to analyze technical information and make data-driven decisions * Demonstrated fitness, ability, and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities * Ability to prepare and deliver presentations that promote awareness of solutions * Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external clients **What You'll Get** As a valued member of the blithequark team, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including: * Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage * Virtual doctor visits and flexible spending accounts * 401(k) program with employer contributions * Employee Assistance Program * Pet insurance and discounts on hotels, cars, travel, and more * Opportunities for professional growth and development * A supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and inclusion **Join the blithequark Family** At blithequark, we're committed to creating a workplace that's inclusive, diverse, and supportive of all employees.
