Job Overview As a Full Time Data Entry Associate at blithequark, your primary responsibility will be to enter Purchase Orders into our Point of Sale (POS) system, currently utilizing LightSpeed, and edit inventory on Shopify for our website. This critical role requires a strong foundation in data entry, inventory management, and e-commerce, as well as excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: Inventory management for single brick and mortar and online store, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all data entry tasks Data entry for all store inventory, creating purchase orders into LightSpeed software as orders are written, confirmed, and given to you from the buyer Editing inventory on Shopify for our website, maintaining up-to-date and accurate product information Utilizing data analysis skills to identify trends and areas for improvement in inventory management and data entry processes Collaborating with the buying team to ensure seamless communication and efficient data entry Maintaining excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar data entry role, preferably in an e-commerce environment Minimum of 2 years of experience in e-commerce, with a solid understanding of inventory management and data analysis principles Experience with Shopify, including inventory management and product listing Experience with LightSpeed or similar POS systems is a plus Solid knowledge of data analysis and inventory management principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting An analytical mind with strong attention to detail, able to identify and correct errors in data entry Ability to sit for long hours, with excellent organizational and time management skills Outstanding communication and leadership abilities, with excellent interpersonal and project management skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data entry software and systems, including LightSpeed and Shopify Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and inventory management systems Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment What We Offer At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and dynamic work environment that fosters professional growth and development.
