As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing remote work from home data entry and patient care services, including counseling patients on the proper use of medications, performing drug therapy reviews, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Provide remote work from home data entry and patient care services, including counseling patients on the proper use of medications and performing drug therapy reviews Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including state and federal controlled substance laws Perform tasks such as compounding, drug therapy reviews, and prescription management Review, interpret, and accurately administer prescribed medications as required by responsibility Ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations, company policies, and standards Assist the pharmacy manager in establishing procedures that promote the efficient workflow of the pharmacy, including assigning tasks, scheduling activities, and soliciting colleague ideas Responsible for the opening and closing of the pharmacy and shift change duties Ensure the use of all elements of the Good Faith Dispensing policy in accordance with state and federal controlled substance laws Maintain current knowledge of information technology related to pharmacy systems, including workflow, prescription fulfillment, billing, clinical documentation, training, inventory management, and retail point-of-sale systems Seek new and better ways to encourage advance efficiency Patient Experience As a Pharmacist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive patient experience. This includes: Greeting patients and offering assistance with products and services Resolving patient issues in a timely and professional manner Modeling and promoting customer service best practices with all colleagues Connecting with patients by anticipating needs and proactively offering services Supporting efforts to enhance patient experience by increasing awareness of healthcare services offered through arenaflex Tasks As a Pharmacist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including: Counseling patients and answering their questions regarding medication use, side effects, interactions, contraindications, patient data security, generics, and over-the-counter products Performing pharmacist tasks, including compounding, drug therapy reviews, and prescription management Reviewing, interpreting, and accurately administering prescribed medications as required by responsibility Ensuring the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations, company policies, and standards Assisting the pharmacy manager with staff hiring and training Establishing the course of pharmacy manager in staff performance by coaching, and providing constructive feedback, monitoring customer service, and encouraging colleague development Essential Qualifications To be considered for this position, you must have: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited educational institution Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the region Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong knowledge of relevant state and federal controlled substance laws Certified Immunizer or able to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire Preferred Qualifications Preferred candidates will have: At least 2 years of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you must possess: Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices and procedures Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
