Role Snapshot Company: Workwarp Location: Remote Position: Google Cloud Infrastructure Architect Compensation: A competitive salary ranging from $55-$80/Hour + bonus + equity + benefits Start Date: Immediate openings available Job Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess the following minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Three years of experience in HPC systems hardware architecture, network interconnect technologies and topologies, and popular HPC storage file systems. Experience in performing technical presentations or public speaking. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be highly regarded: Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. Experience as an IT infrastructure representative or corporate architect in data center transformation processes, migrations, and recommendations, including organizational alignment and change management. Experience serving as a technical sales engineer in high-performance computing environments or in a customer-facing role. Experience designing and implementing performant HPC systems, including job schedulers, message-passing interface, high-speed interconnects, and parallel file systems. Key Responsibilities Identify and qualify business opportunities and key customer technical issues, developing a strategy to solve technical problems. Propose and document migration paths, integration techniques, and application architecture needed to implement a complete solution using Google Cloud best practices. Assist Infrastructure solutions management teams, contributing to the solution and use case repository. Lead workshops for strategic clients to assess existing application/infrastructure environments and organizational readiness. Discover potential use cases for cloud computing and paths to digital transformation. Develop architectural blueprints to enable infrastructure, high-performance Computing (HPC), and migration opportunities, coordinating with Product and professional services teams.
