Job Overview: Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service Specialist In this exciting role, you will be an integral part of our Corporate Affairs Team within the Government Affairs Division. Your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell air travel on arenaflex, while providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients. You will be the face of our company, interacting with customers over the phone, resolving issues, and providing timely and effective solutions to their problems. Key Responsibilities: Promote and sell air travel on arenaflex to government and corporate clients Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets Answer inquiries regarding general travel information and resolve customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner Communicate with customers over the phone when researching passenger complaints, advising of cancelled or delayed flights Communicate new rules, policies, and procedures that would affect the customer Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to continuously improve our services Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that demonstrate your ability to provide exceptional customer service, work effectively in a team environment, and adapt to changing situations. The minimum qualifications for this role include: Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training Excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills Knowledge of Native SABRE or similar reservation systems Ability to be resourceful and creative in immediate problem resolution Ability to demonstrate high level of initiative, exercise good judgment, and be dependable Satisfactory attendance required Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field Knowledge of the air travel industry and government regulations Experience working with diverse customer groups and stakeholders Proficiency in multiple languages Certifications or training in customer service, sales, or a related field Career Growth and Development Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
