Job Overview The Healthcare Eligibility Representative will play a vital role in delivering essential administrative services, focusing on eligibility for benefits and ensuring data accuracy and timeliness in eligibility records. This position involves managing both automated and manual eligibility data, generating reports to resolve discrepancies, and identifying process improvement opportunities. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with internal teams and external clients/vendors, negotiating and resolving eligibility issues in a professional and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain eligibility data for benefits, both manually and through automated systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Interact with internal partners and external clients/vendors to manage and resolve eligibility issues, providing exceptional customer service and support. Generate reports to identify and resolve data discrepancies, utilizing technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve errors. Provide technical support for electronic eligibility processing, and troubleshooting system issues as needed, to ensure seamless operations. Ensure customer data is installed and maintained accurately and promptly, adhering to strict data management protocols. Collaborate with technical systems teams to resolve system-related issues, identifying opportunities for process improvement in managing eligibility cases. Provide support with manual and automated eligibility processes and reporting tools, leveraging expertise to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, work experience, technical skills, and soft skills, including: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in administrative processes and data management. Work Experience: Prior work-at-home (WAH) experience is highly preferred, with a proven track record of managing routine tasks with minimal supervision. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote, with the ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues. Strong computer skills and ability to navigate systems, with familiarity with eligibility systems, reporting tools, and manual/automated data entry being a plus. Soft Skills: Strong reliability and excellent attendance record, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage routine tasks with minimal supervision, with a strong attention to detail and ability to follow clearly defined procedures. Great interpersonal and communication skills to interact with both internal and external stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and support. Schedule and Training The selected candidate will undergo a comprehensive training program, consisting of: Training Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST for 4 weeks (Classroom training), followed by an additional 2 weeks of on-the-job training. Regular Schedule: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM EST (Monday to Friday), with scheduling based on business needs, to ensure seamless coverage and support.
