Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for handling property and casualty (P&C) related customer service and billing inquiries via telephone. Your expertise in insurance will enable you to provide customers with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium. As a representative of arenaflex, you will be the face of our company, ensuring that every interaction with our customers is professional, helpful, and courteous. Key Responsibilities Contact policyholders through inbound and outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies prior to renewal, enhancing retention and meeting the needs of our consumers. Counsel policyholders on appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws to ensure they have sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance. Make recommendations and process changes to policies, documenting all activity in our system. Utilize knowledge of the insurance industry and arenaflex policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service, including providing quotes on endorsements as requested. Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms, and act as a liaison between customers and insurance companies. Process changes to policies, follow up with companies to ensure timely processing, and review policy information to assist insured in filing claims. Recognize cross-sell opportunities and obtain quote information to further enhance customer relationships and business growth. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent, combined with 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment. A Property and Casualty insurance license, with a Membership license preferred or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting. A strong understanding of insurance principles, including policy coverage, limits, and state laws. Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including our EPIC system for documenting customer interactions and processing policy changes.
