Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for handling property and casualty (P&C) related customer service and billing inquiries via telephone. Your expertise in insurance will enable you to provide customers with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium. As a representative of arenaflex, you will be the face of our company, ensuring that every interaction with our customers is professional, helpful, and courteous. Key Responsibilities Contact policyholders to review policies prior to renewal, updating policies to enhance retention and better meet customer needs. Counsel policyholders on appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws to ensure sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance. Make recommendations and process changes to policies, documenting all activity in our system. Receive and respond to calls and emails, providing efficient and professional customer service, and utilizing knowledge of the insurance industry and arenaflex policies and procedures. Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms, and act as a liaison between customers and insurance companies. Process changes to policies, follow up with companies to ensure timely processing, and review policy information to assist insured in filing claims. Recognize cross-sell opportunities and obtain quote information to further support our customers' needs. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment. A Property and Casualty insurance license, with a Membership license preferred or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting. A strong understanding of insurance principles, including policy coverage, limits, and state laws. Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including our EPIC system.
