Key Responsibilities As an Interior Designer with RITUALS, you'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks that will challenge your creativity, technical skills, and communication abilities. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Communicating effectively with team members, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Ensuring that all tasks meet compliance guidelines, including building, fire, health, safety, ADA, and other relevant regulations. Assessing project needs with a high attention to detail and accuracy, and developing design solutions that meet client requirements and stay within budget. Assisting in schematic design and presentation preparation, including creating conceptual designs, floor plans, mood boards, elevations, and finish packets. Gathering accurate estimates and bids from vendors and contractors. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure that your designs are always relevant and cutting-edge. Collaborating with team members to develop and deliver high-quality design solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations. Qualifications and Expectations To succeed as an Interior Designer with RITUALS, you'll need to bring a strong combination of creative talent, technical skills, and business acumen to the table. Some of the key qualifications and expectations for this role include: Essential Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience working with a design firm, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality design solutions. Excellent creative thinking skills, with the ability to develop innovative design solutions that meet client needs and stay within budget. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign, as well as CAD software. Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, team members, and vendors. A high attention to detail and accuracy, with a sense of urgency and commitment to delivering high-quality results. The ability to work independently with minimal direction, and to proactively seek feedback and guidance as needed. Preferred Qualifications An Associate's degree in Interior Design or a related field. Experience working with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Calendar. A proven ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. A strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a keen eye for industry trends and developments. Work Environment and Company Culture As a remote, 1099 independent contractor, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere and set your own schedule. However, you'll be expected to be available during US Central Time Zone hours, Monday through Friday. Compensation and Benefits We're offering a competitive hourly rate of $18-$35 per hour, depending on experience.
