About the Role: IT Data Analyst/Project Manager - Remote We are seeking an experienced IT Data Analyst and Project Manager to join our team in a remote capacity. Key Responsibilities: Own the truth in Store Operations data through governance and process, including the acquisition, management, automation, and integrity of all data. Champion the data needs and priorities of the HQ Store Operations team, coordinating with key business, data, and tech partners across the Allied Global Marketing organization. Collaborate with team members and business partners to deliver high-quality solutions and recommendations to a variety of problems. Provide support on data design requirements and delivery for all Store Operations programs and initiatives. Dive deep into complex business problems and provide insights on performance through hypothesis testing and monitoring trends in key metrics. Develop and manage the environment of reports and analysis, delivering a simple and organized user access and experience. Support the development of interactive data visualizations, reports, and effective analysis. Support the analysis and diagnosis around business performance and provide expert guidance to improve results. Use advanced analytical and statistical practices to create thorough and actionable insights. Maintain and improve a suite of analytical tools used to drive positive business outcomes. Excel at compelling storytelling with data, providing clear insights that bring facts to support business hypotheses and anecdotes. Influence leadership and program management through fact-based recommendations using data analysis. Support and influence the professional development of other data and business analysts. Essential Qualifications: 3-5 years of professional experience analyzing complex data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations. 3-5 years of experience in development, manipulation, and management of large data sets from various relational databases using SQL. 3-5 years of applied data experience with graphics/visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field with documented coursework in statistics or business analytics. Experience with statistical and machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, and/or clustering). Strong coding skills in at least one statistical or programming language (R or Python preferred) to import, summarize, and analyze data. Expert knowledge of Query languages (e.g., SQL, U-SQL, etc.). Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced and dynamic organization. Clear and effective written and verbal communication for individuals at all levels of analytical expertise. High degree of working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills. Strong leadership and management skills. The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems. Preferred Qualifications: Retail industry experience. Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment. Knowledge of agile project management methodologies. Certifications in data analysis, project management, or related fields.
