About the Role The Junior Geographic Information Systems Analyst will play a vital role in creating geographic data for assigned areas, designing computer-generated maps and reports, and providing administrative support to local dealmakers. As a Junior Geographic Information Systems Analyst, you will work closely with regional dealmakers, representatives of arenaflex, and other vendors to deliver high-quality services and support. Key Responsibilities Design computer-generated maps, reports, tables, and charts for the needs of assigned districts using MapInfo as requested by regional dealmakers. Process requests and orders directly from arenaflex Activities for market strategy guides and display materials. Perform a variety of project-specific tasks, including research and representation of data as assigned. Provide administrative support to regional dealmakers by preparing accurate and timely cost reports, editing documents, booking travel, preparing visit books, and meeting other administrative requirements as requested. Perform general office duties, including answering incoming calls, receiving office visitors, mail handling and preparation, ensuring all office equipment is functioning correctly, recording, scheduling deliveries, and ordering office supplies. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or a related discipline. General knowledge of geographic information systems and data analysis techniques. Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with MapInfo or other GIS software. Certificate in GIS or two years of relevant work experience in geographic information systems.
