Job Overview blithequark is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Operations Analyst to join its team in Charlotte, USA. Key Responsibilities Lead production support activities for a group of data analysis products used to support internal bank operations, ensuring seamless functionality and high-quality performance. Act as a key member in the identification and resolution of production incidents affecting the client data analysis platform, leveraging technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Analyze complex technical operations challenges within a big data environment, requiring in-depth assessment and creative problem-solving skills. Conduct research and create reports related to ongoing production moves, presenting findings to internal stakeholders and contributing to the continuous improvement of operations. Lead the development of new process and platform enhancements, driving innovation and excellence in data operations. Serve as the primary point of contact with the in-house team, ensuring effective communication and reporting of delivery from the offshore team. Champion continuous improvement, devising new strategies and identifying new opportunities for growth and development. Contribute to the establishment of performance standards for the team, ensuring that operations meet or exceed performance metrics. Direct the daily Risk and Control stream of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to guarantee a successful outcome, and driving continuous process improvement. Lead teams to meet deadlines and drive new initiatives, providing guidance and support to ensure success. Review, approve, and implement recommended changes to plans, ensuring that operations are aligned with business objectives. Collaborate and communicate with employees to resolve initiatives and achieve technology mandates, serving as a mentor to peers and providing expert guidance and support. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must have: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or business administration. 3+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field, or equivalent experience demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: 3+ years of experience supporting big data environments, with a strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL, and data analysis concepts. Experience delivering ETL, data warehousing, and data analysis capabilities on big data architectures, such as Hadoop. Proficiency in a combination of tools, including HIVE, Panda, Autosys, Grafana, and Splunk. Past experience supporting Kafka and MongoDB, with a strong understanding of data integration and data quality concepts.
