Job Highlights • Company: Workwarp, in partnership with Google • Compensation: Competitive salary of $25/hour • Start Date: Immediate openings available • Position: Logistics Operations Manager – Google Virtual Remote Job, Part Time Remote • Location: Remote, with a focus on New Jersey, USA Job Details As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily logistics operations of multiple server farm locations. Your expertise in supply chain principles, problem-solving, and project management will be essential in driving key logistics processes, including managing vendors, shipping and receiving, inventory management, warehousing and distribution, transportation, and more. Key Responsibilities • Own daily logistics operations management of multiple server farm locations • Create, lead, and support cross-functional team drives/projects • Manage and monitor vendor performance scorecards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and development of business cases to support logistics process changes or improvements • Identify opportunities for improvement to the cost and/or quality of services, and transform ideas into a documented business case • Presentation of the business case to peers and management for approval, and provide ongoing project management • Manage relationships with different internal clients at server farms Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of skills, experience, and education. The essential qualifications include: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Strategies, Tasks, Designing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience • 2 years of experience in managing warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain activities • Experience in project planning, business case development, influencing teams, presentations, and financial modeling • Experience in managing people in remote and regional areas Preferred Qualifications • MBA or Graduate degree in a related field • Certificate in project management • Experience in operations management, problem-solving, Outsider Lab (3PL) vendor relationships, budget creation, and cost management • Ability to apply structured thinking and logic, and provide solutions • Excellent analytical skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Google, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
