In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment, and ensuring that our software systems are running smoothly. If you have a strong background in maintenance and a passion for problem-solving, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Key Responsibilities** As a Walgreens Software and Equipment Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: * Performing routine maintenance tasks, including preventive upkeep and minor mechanical repairs, to ensure the optimal operation of material-handling and other Dispersion Community (Walgreens Software) hardware. * Utilizing Modernized Support The board Framework (CMMS)-created preventive upkeep worksheets to maintain delivery apparatus and hardware according to the manufacturer's recommendations and best maintenance practices. * Working with Expert Support Specialist to perform preventive, remedial, and predictive maintenance on super advanced computerized hardware. * Maintaining a safe working environment by reporting and revising potential safety issues concerning material-handling gear or delivery center office. **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: * Associate's degree in Modern or Support Technology AND at least 2 years of maintenance experience in an office, US Military, distribution, or manufacturing environment, OR * At least 4 years of maintenance experience in an office, US Military, distribution, or manufacturing environment. * Knowledge of modern power, including single-stage and three-stage power, engines, defensive devices, and photo sensors. * At least 6 months of experience with Programmable Logic Regulator (PLC) logic standards. * At least 6 months of experience transferring and downloading Programmable Logic Regulators (PLCs), System Control Programming (SCSs), and scanners. * At least 6 months of experience with devices such as photo sensors, Programmable Logic Regulators (PLCs), remote Information/Result modules (I/O systems), servo drives, and variable frequency drives. * Ability to work at heights up to 100 feet and lift parts and devices weighing up to 80 pounds. * Ability to perform tasks that include repetitive bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following preferred qualifications would be an asset in this role: * Equivalent Open Door Business, including disability/veterans. **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Strong technical skills, including knowledge of modern power, Programmable Logic Regulators (PLCs), and other relevant technologies **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a member of our team, you will have access to a range of career growth opportunities and learning benefits, including: * Opportunities for professional development and advancement * Access to training and development programs * Collaborative and supportive work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **Work Environment and Company Culture** We are proud of our company culture, which is built on the following values: * Respect and empathy for our patients and colleagues * Excellence in patient care and service * Innovation and continuous improvement * Collaboration and teamwork * Accountability and transparency Our work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and improving health outcomes.
