About the Role: Manufacturing Maintenance Operator - 3rd Shift We're seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Operator to join our team on the 3rd shift. As a key member of our production team, you'll be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex production equipment to ensure seamless execution of our daily production schedule. Key Responsibilities: Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Perform necessary pre-operation activities, operate, monitor, and maintain multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality products and minimize downtime. Troubleshooting and Repair: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose issues, and repair machinery in a timely manner to minimize production losses. Preventative Maintenance: Complete assigned Preventative Maintenance tasks, ensure minimal unplanned stops, and correctly fill out all paperwork and electronic systems. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement changes, and assist in continuous improvement efforts to optimize production efficiency. Collaboration and Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of high-quality products with minimal unproductive time and materials. Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area, complete 5S and recycling activities, and inspect and clean change parts as needed to ensure a safe working environment. Essential Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED required. Experience: 1-3 years of work experience in plant maintenance, high-speed production equipment, or a related field. Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with the ability to read and follow SOPs, instructions, and blueprints. Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer systems and software applications. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and troubleshoot complex process issues, determine root cause, and establish solutions. Preferred Qualifications: Technical Education: Certification or technical schooling in a relevant field, such as mechanical maintenance or industrial technology. Experience: 2+ years of experience in plant maintenance, high-speed production equipment, or a related field. Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machine schematics. Equipment Operation: Demonstrated ability to operate effectively assigned equipment.
