About the Role of a Flexologist at StretchLab As a Flexologist at StretchLab, you will play a vital role in delivering one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and leading guided group stretching classes for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a safe, supportive, and motivating environment that encourages clients to achieve their flexibility and wellness goals. You will work closely with our team of experts, including physical therapists, chiropractors, yoga, Pilates, and dance instructors, to ensure that our clients receive a comprehensive and holistic approach to wellness. Key Responsibilities: Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and group stretch classes for up to 6 clients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment that promotes client comfort and progress Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions, providing feedback and guidance to help them achieve their goals Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele through sales and outreach to leads, utilizing your excellent communication skills and passion for helping others Manage client care by delivering a best-in-class stretching experience, updating client notes consistently, and booking client's weekly recurring appointments Ensure the safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules, maintaining a clean and organized studio environment Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations, staying up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in assisted stretching and flexibility Handle member concerns when applicable, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner Assist Sales Associates and General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed, contributing to the growth and success of our studio Maintain a strong social media presence to promote client membership and retention, sharing your passion for stretching and wellness with our online community Requirements and Qualifications To be successful as a Flexologist at StretchLab, you will need to possess a combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities that align with our company values and mission. These include: Essential Qualifications: A love of boutique fitness environment and a passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility Previous experience as a Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, or Pilates or Yoga Instructor Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provided hands-on training with clients Fitness certification required, with a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people, with excellent communication skills and empathy A professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to our attendance policies Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in a team environment, with a strong ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, with experience in promoting services and products to clients Strong social media skills, with experience in creating engaging content and promoting a brand online Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Skills and Competencies To excel as a Flexologist at StretchLab, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies that enable you to deliver exceptional client experiences and contribute to the success of our studio.
