About the Role: Merchandiser - EMPORIA We're seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in EMPORIA, working remotely to ensure that our Coca-Cola beverage products are stocked and displayed to perfection in retail accounts. As a Merchandiser, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the highest quality and freshness of our products, while also providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our customers. Key Responsibilities Maintain and replenish products in store shelves, racks, displays, and coolers, ensuring that product deliveries are fully worked and that our products are always available to consumers. Build, change, or remove product displays to company standards, maintaining product signage and ensuring that our products are presented in an attractive and appealing way. Manage backroom inventory, identifying and reporting inventory levels, and utilizing FIFO training to ensure timely sales of product. Evaluate and process damaged product, re-packing product and organizing backroom materials as needed. Communicate and collaborate with the sales team and store personnel, providing recap pictures and reports, and addressing any customer concerns or issues. Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers are satisfied with our products and services. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A High School Diploma or GED, and a minimum of one year of work experience in a related field, such as grocery, retail, or warehouse. A valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, and a driving record within company guidelines. The ability to lift 40 lbs. or less, and to work in a fast-paced environment that requires frequent bending, squatting, and lifting. Basic computer application and technology skills, including the ability to operate a smartphone and/or laptop. Flexibility with work hours, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred: Prior experience using equipment such as pallet jacks and high loader lifts. The ability to obtain powered industrial truck certification upon hire. Physical Requirements This role requires: Constant speaking and acute vision. Frequent typing, mobility, bending, squatting, lifting, pushing/pulling, and driving.
