Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Mobile Software Development Test Engineer to join our Wireless Software Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for qualifying wireless functionality and software for the latest iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch product lines. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and test wireless connectivity solutions, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and more, to ensure seamless customer experiences with Apple products and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and product management, to develop and implement wireless solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations. Conduct thorough testing and analysis of mobile technologies, including 5G, LTE, UMTS, CDMA, and IMS, to identify and resolve issues, and optimize performance. Develop and maintain testable code, automation tools, test suites, and test execution and configuration to ensure the highest quality releases. Work closely with remote teammates to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and issue resolution, and lead global teams to achieve project goals and objectives. Provide detailed analysis and reporting of test results, including MTBF problems, performance, AC, 5G, VoLTE, SRVCC, CSFB, crashes, resets, and panics, to inform product development and improvement. Essential Qualifications Hands-on experience in testing mobile technologies, including 5G, LTE, UMTS, CDMA, and IMS. Outstanding experience in analyzing MTBF problems, performance, AC, 5G, VoLTE, SRVCC, CSFB, crashes, resets, and panics. Good understanding of writing testable code and MTBF/stability testing, automation tools, test suites, test execution, and configuration. Modem contact from initial development to maintenance, with a strong understanding of wireless connectivity technologies and protocols. Ability to work effectively with remote teammates, with excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills. Good attention to detail, strong writing and interpersonal skills, with experience leading global teams and managing complex projects. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, with a strong foundation in software development, testing, and wireless connectivity. Experience with Agile development methodologies, version control systems, and continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Knowledge of programming languages, including C, C++, Java, Python, and Swift, with experience in developing and testing mobile applications. Familiarity with wireless connectivity protocols, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, with experience in testing and optimizing wireless performance.
