About the Role: Night Shift Homecare LPN We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Night Shift Homecare LPN. As a Night Shift Homecare LPN with Maxim Healthcare Services, you will have the opportunity to work with pediatric and/or adult patients in the comfort of their own homes, providing skilled nursing care and making a meaningful difference in their lives. Key Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring that all care is patient-centered and tailored to individual needs. Provide skilled nursing care and services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality care. Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition, and take prompt action to address any concerns. Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare team members, and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses to inform care decisions. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care, promoting optimal patient outcomes. Essential Qualifications: Current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state where you will be practicing, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the profession. Current TB or Chest X-Ray, ensuring your safety and the safety of our patients. Current BLS certification, highlighting your ability to respond in emergency situations. One year of prior professional nursing experience is preferred, although not required, as we value talent and potential. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in homecare or a related field, demonstrating your understanding of the unique challenges and rewards of delivering care in the home setting. Pediatric and/or adult care experience, showcasing your versatility and ability to adapt to diverse patient needs. Skills and Competencies: Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
