Job Overview The Part Time Customer Care Associate will play a vital role in our leading-edge call center environment, processing incoming orders, and resolving customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner. Key Responsibilities Ensure that sales are captured by responding to customers and entering orders accurately and efficiently in SAP. Resolve customer inquiries through the use of multiple customer support tools, including conducting research in SAP and/or contacting business units as appropriate. Maintain world-class standards by successfully performing against department scorecards and metrics, and identify opportunities to continuously exceed service requirements. Establish and maintain world-class customer relations by developing a rapport, actively listening, and providing consultative support and recommendations. Identify and evaluate opportunities to increase customer retention, maintain customer confidence, and protect operations by keeping information confidential. Suggest alternatives to out-of-stock or limited quantity items and inform customers of available deals, promotions, and other relevant information. Conduct safe and responsible interactions with the public, and perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent. Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs. No previous experience is required, but you must be a results-oriented professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills, using diplomacy and discretion. Customer service skills, with the ability to multi-task, work independently, and as part of a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines. Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: A Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience. 1-2 years of previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the consumer products or distribution industry. Physical Requirements The Part Time Customer Care Associate will be required to: Remain in a stationary position at times. Communicate, and operate a computer and telephone. Competencies The successful candidate will be: Accountable for meeting own targets, with work reviewed periodically. Able to define, repetitive, and routine problems, with a solution readily available.
