Job Overview As a Part-Time Customer Service Advisor at blithequark, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers with their post-purchase needs. You will be responsible for handling inbound calls, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound calls from customers with inquiries about their recent purchases, providing timely and effective solutions to their problems. Assist customers with tracking numbers, order statuses, product returns, and other post-purchase needs, ensuring that their issues are resolved efficiently and professionally. Use your problem-solving skills to find quick solutions and resolve any issues that may arise, escalating complex problems to senior team members when necessary. Help de-escalate frustrated customers with empathy and professionalism, providing a positive and supportive experience that reflects the values and mission of blithequark. Occasionally assist with upselling or cross-selling when appropriate and necessary, identifying opportunities to promote our products and services to customers. Essential Qualifications 18 years or older, with a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check, ensuring that you meet the high standards of integrity and trust that we expect from our team members. At least six months of experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or remote work environment. High-speed internet access, meeting the following speeds: download 10mbps+ upload 3mbps+ Ping less than 175ms (no Wi-Fi or satellite internet, you must have an ethernet connection). Ability to accurately type at least 30 WPM, with excellent communication and soft skills. Have a secured workspace with a door that is only accessible to you during work hours, ensuring that you can work safely and efficiently in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with iOS and/or macOS, or comparable technology, is preferred, although training will be provided to ensure that you have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role. Previous experience in a remote work environment, with a proven track record of working independently and managing your time effectively. Strong technical skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies quickly.
