Job Overview blithequark is seeking an experienced and skilled Part Time Customer Support and Service Technician to join its team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing mechanical services and light remanufacturing on soft drink fountain equipment, as well as providing exceptional customer service to clients. This is a part-time opportunity, with a competitive hourly rate of $27/hour, and a schedule that includes 8 hours of work per day. The ideal candidate will be based in Tampa, USA, and will be required to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical services and light remanufacturing on soft drink fountain equipment in accordance with blithequark standards Investigate and diagnose issues with soft drink fountain equipment Maintain all refrigeration equipment in good working condition Move equipment to perform all mechanical services on fountain hardware, including preventive maintenance, programming, and cosmetic repairs Provide exceptional customer service, working collaboratively with clients to resolve issues and ensure their needs are met Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent degree/certification Valid driver's license Technical aptitude to repair machines Ability to lift 50 pounds Flexibility to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed Bachelor's degree preferred Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the beverage or food service industry Technical training or certification in a related field Experience with soft drink fountain equipment and refrigeration systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Skill and Competency Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Technical expertise: You will need to have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to troubleshoot and repair issues with soft drink fountain equipment.
