Job Overview We are currently hiring for a state-wide research project focused on Pennsylvanians' engagement in online gambling, which will run from July to December 2024. As a part-time phone interviewer, you will play a crucial role in administering carefully developed research questionnaires via telephone to respondents from diverse backgrounds and walks of life. Your contributions will help shape our understanding of this important topic and inform future research initiatives. Key Responsibilities Conduct telephone interviews with respondents using a computer to administer research questionnaires Work weekday evenings and weekends, with some daytime hours available during the week Commit to working at least 8-10 hours per week, with typical shifts from 6 PM to 9 PM Utilize reliable transportation for in-person work or reliable internet for remote work Participate in paid training sessions to develop skills and become a competent and effective interviewer Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds and age groups. While prior experience in a call center or research environment is not necessary, you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to new situations.
