Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Registration Representative to join our team, working 16 hours per week in the evening shift. As a Registration Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient registration experiences, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records. Key Responsibilities Excellent Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional service to patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring a positive and respectful experience. Patient Registration: Accurately collect and enter patient demographic and financial information, including obtaining signatures, scanning documents, and collecting patient financial responsibility. Reference Material and Guidance: Routinely use reference materials to ensure proper course of action and seek guidance when necessary. Downtime Procedures: Follow established downtime procedures and work proactively to complete downtime tasks, including data entry, insurance management, and order cleanup. Cross-Training: Participate in cross-training opportunities, including on-unit in-person consent capture, to enhance skills and adapt to changing needs. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will require: High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service experience is essential, with a strong focus on service recovery and patient satisfaction. Meditech Experience: Previous experience with Meditech or similar electronic health record systems is desirable, but not required. Medical Terminology: A good understanding of medical terminology is helpful, but not essential.
