Position Overview As a Remote Veterinary Receptionist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication between our clients and veterinary teams. You'll be responsible for managing appointment scheduling, answering client inquiries, and assisting with various administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities Remote Work Arrangement: This is a remote position, and you will not be working at a practice. You'll need to be self-motivated and able to work independently. Part-time Availability: Part-time availability is expected, and you'll need to be able to work a set number of hours per week. Time Zone: You must be able to work across all U.S. time zones and be available to work until 10:00 PM EST. Multi-Tasking: You'll assist multiple veterinary hospitals simultaneously as needed, requiring excellent organizational and time management skills. Communication: You'll be the first point of contact for our clients, providing excellent customer service and support via phone, email, and chat. Appointment Scheduling: You'll schedule and confirm appointments for veterinary services, ensuring seamless communication between clients and veterinary teams. Record-Keeping: You'll maintain accurate records and files for clients and pets, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity. Payment Processing: You'll process payments and manage client billing inquiries, requiring attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Medical Records: You'll assist in handling medical records, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity. Client Education: You'll provide information about services, procedures, and pet care, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Collaboration: You'll collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure smooth operations, requiring excellent teamwork and communication skills. Follow-up: You'll follow up with clients regarding their pets' appointments and care, ensuring excellent customer service and support. Requirements and Qualifications Experience: A minimum of 3 years working in a veterinary practice; Urgent Care or emergency experience is preferred. Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is preferred. Technical Skills: Proficient in using computers and veterinary software, with excellent typing skills and attention to detail. Internet Requirements: A reliable internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 9 Mbps upload speed is required.
