Key Responsibilities In this position, you will be required to support the Customer Service team, specifically in the Ticket and Gate areas. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Guiding and assisting customers with the ticketing and baggage check-in process as a Ticket Agent Using a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets Managing the check-in process, ensuring that customers have the proper documentation for travel Tagging baggage and performing lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures Helping customers with routing, trip planning, and gate boarding as a Gate Agent Using computers to assist customers with seat availability, gate announcements regarding the boarding process, flight status, checking and handling baggage, managing, and initiating the boarding process Operating jet ways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: A high school diploma or GED equivalent Consistently make safety and security, of self and others, the priority Embrace a diverse set of people, thinking, and styles Be at least 18 years of age Frequently lift bags or items weighing up to and including 80 pounds Be authorized to live and work in the country you are applying to Possess entry-level computer skills Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be fluent, both written and orally, in English Must be fluent, both written and orally, in Spanish Preferred Qualifications While there are no preferred qualifications for this role, we encourage you to apply if you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and are looking for a temporary seasonal role.
