About the Role blithequark's Patient Customer Service department, within our Revenue Cycle Management Division, is seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Customer Service Support Representatives. Key Responsibilities Answer a high volume of inbound calls (80+ per day) from patients, doctor's offices, and private insurance carriers, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries and concerns. Initiate and manage payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory experience for all parties involved. Utilize a variety of resources to resolve patient inquiries efficiently while on the phone, demonstrating a commitment to first-call resolution and customer satisfaction. Maintain and exceed performance goals, contributing to the team's overall success and reflecting blithequark's high standards of service excellence. Participate in a structured training program designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to become proficient in our processes and systems, ensuring your success in this role. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education and a capacity for learning and development. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with a dedicated workspace that meets our technical requirements, including a reliable internet connection with a download speed of at least 50 megabytes per second, and the capability to connect equipment directly to a router/modem via an Ethernet cord. Previous experience in a medical or call center environment is highly desirable, although not mandatory, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. Preferred Qualifications Experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting, where you have developed strong communication and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with medical billing and insurance processes, although training will be provided to ensure proficiency. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Skills and Competencies Attention to Detail: The ability to accurately process information, manage multiple screens and applications, and perform alpha-numeric data entry with precision.
