About the Role blithequark's Patient Customer Service department, within the Revenue Cycle Management Division, is seeking dedicated and passionate customer service professionals who are eager to provide solutions to complex patient billing issues. As a Customer Service Support Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering exemplary customer experiences through innovation and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Answer a high volume of inbound calls (80+ per day) from patients, doctor's offices, and private insurance carriers, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries. Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory experience. Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Maintain performance goals, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, and contributing to the team's overall success. Become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in customer service principles and practices. Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency navigating multiple computer screens and applications, with alpha-numeric data entry proficiency. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to perform successfully in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision. Previous medical and/or call center experience is a plus, with a strong understanding of patient billing issues and healthcare operations. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a remote environment, with a dedicated work-from-home space and the ability to manage time and tasks independently while maintaining productivity. Strong technical skills, with the ability to connect equipment to a router/modem with an Ethernet cord and meet the required internet download speed of at least 50 megabytes per second. Familiarity with customer service software and technology, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes. Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex patient inquiries and billing issues. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on attention to detail, organization, and time management. Proficiency in navigating multiple computer screens and applications, with excellent data entry skills and accuracy.
