About the Role: Patient Customer Service Support Representative arenaflex's Patient Customer Service department is seeking energetic and passionate customer service professionals to join our team. As a Patient Customer Service Support Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering exemplary customer experiences to patients, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers. Your primary responsibility will be to resolve complex billing issues, address patient inquiries, and provide timely and effective solutions. Key Responsibilities: Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's offices, and private insurance carriers, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries and concerns. Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, ensuring that they receive the necessary support and guidance to manage their accounts. Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in navigating complex systems and applications. Maintain performance goals, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, and demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence. Ability to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures. Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation in education and a commitment to lifelong learning. Previous medical and/or call center experience is a plus, although not required, as we provide comprehensive training and support to ensure your success. Dedicated work-from-home space, with a reliable internet connection and the ability to manage time and tasks independently while maintaining productivity. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and proficiency in navigating multiple computer screens and applications. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, demonstrating a high level of empathy, active listening, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare systems, and insurance billing processes, although not required, as we provide comprehensive training and support. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Technical Requirements: Internet download speed of at least 50 megabytes per second, ensuring reliable and efficient connectivity.
