Your primary objectives will be to: * Model and deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer and patient * Register sales on assigned cash registers, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service * Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions **Job Responsibilities/Tasks** As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate Certification, your responsibilities will include: **Customer Experience** * Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services * Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience * Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience **Operations** * Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service * Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items * Register customer purchases on assigned cash registers, collect cash, and distribute change as requested * Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed * Take customers to OTC aisles when possible to assist in locating products * Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records * Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader **Pharmacy Operations** * Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly * Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct, and checking for possible interactions * Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow * Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to Company policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program **Training & Personal Development** * Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration * Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate and acquire continuing education credits * Maintain knowledge and skill in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest news and developments **About Us** At blithequark, we are committed to creating a positive and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.
