Job Summary As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at Blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, supporting pharmacy operations, and contributing to the success of our team. You will work closely with our pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and services. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience: Engage customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, resolving customer issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience. Sales and Checkout: Register sales on assigned cash register, provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and recommend items for sale to customers. Pharmacy Operations: Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy under direct supervision, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions. Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals. Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, neat, and orderly, and assist with exterior and interior maintenance. Training and Development: Earn and maintain PTCB certification, attend training sessions, and acquire continuing education credits to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in healthcare and pharmacy. Essential Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy-related education or training preferred. Certification: PTCB certification or willingness to obtain; state-required certification/registration. Experience: Previous experience in customer service, pharmacy, or a related field. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic computer skills. Preferred Qualifications Pharmacy Experience: Experience working in a pharmacy setting, either as a pharmacy technician or in a related role. Leadership Skills: Experience in leadership or supervisory roles, with the ability to motivate and guide team members. Technical Skills: Familiarity with pharmacy systems, electronic medical records, and other healthcare software.
