Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pharmacy Insurance Billing Coordinator to join our team in Monroeville, PA. As a key member of our billing and reimbursement team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate billing for outstanding claims, while providing excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance carriers. Key Responsibilities Third-party insurance claim billing associated with the dispensing of prescription medication using the bill method required by the payer Transmit or submit claims (electronic or paper) to insurance payers for reimbursement Resolve claim rejections and denials that may have resulted from incorrect or incomplete information Contact insurance companies, account managers, and patients for assistance in claim billing resolution Maintain supporting chronological notes that detail action taken to resolve outstanding account balances Maintain patient demographic information and data collection systems, including all billing reports, work queues, or rejections according to payer and company policy guidelines Research and respond by telephone, via the internet, and in writing to insurance companies and governmental payers regarding billing questions, issues, and problems Contact patients and Physician's offices as well as insurance companies as needed in order to expedite claims processing Essential Qualifications 1+ years of Healthcare Insurance related experience Experience using Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word Must be able to commute to the Monroeville, PA office Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required Preferred Qualifications Insurance billing or collections experience Customer service experience in a healthcare environment Experience working in a healthcare reimbursement system Effective customer service skills and experience that shows ability to work in a team environment Attention to detail and ability to utilize analytical skills Ability to navigate through multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize based on importance while displaying strong attention to detail Ability to communicate with clientele in a professional manner; both verbally and written Career Growth and Development At CVS Health, we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our employees.
